After releasing “Party People”, he made his 10th anniversary performance of Park available on video.Art
He has barely let the public recover from his last release and has already arrived with more Hot News.
After releasing, on July 1, the single “Party People” by his label Blackartel, Visage made available in sequence (08) the complete set of his presentation at the mega event that marked the 10 years of club Park.Art in Curitiba.
The party took place at the beginning of June and also featured Almanac, Breaking Beattz and Flux Zone in the line-up.
Despite his young age, the DJ and producer from Goiás emerged into the mainstream a few years ago and at this point in the championship it is undeniable that his creativity accompanies the intense rhythm of his sound. In the Desande style, of which he was one of the forerunners, he raises the temperatures of any track.
And that’s exactly what he did at Park.Art, opening the performance with the track “Uh Papa has arrived”, which is expected to be released by the artist in the coming months.
With so many career moves, we needed a good chat to stay on top of this current moment of Visage and everything that also lies ahead in an exclusive way:
Mixmag: Visage! Busy time around, isn’t it? Let’s start by talking about their newest single, “Party People.” It was your first release of the year that received a signature from Blackartel, right? Tell us more about the production of this track…
Visage: speak up, guys! This song was produced within the pandemic, a great experiment I did about 1 year ago. I confess that at first I did not really like the result, but after I saw the reaction of the track, I changed my mind! Maybe it’s because I produced at the time that I didn’t have the main thermometer: the audience.
-Blackartel has less than four years of existence but from the beginning it has already been revealing excellent names. How are the productions by the label and how do you divide the work of managing the label with your career?
-Here we divide the functions, this way everything works. Of course we charge each other so that everything comes out according to what everyone has in common, but specifically me, Alfrexx and Victor Lou take care of the Phonographic part more – listening to demos, setting the releases, etc. Douglas already takes more care of the bureaucratic part of the company, such as contracts, records, financial and the commercial side of the brand.
-Now, changing the subject, we want to know more about this new set. What was the experience of participating in this important date for Park.Art? Did it have a special meaning for you? What is your relationship to the place?
-Park.Art is and always will be my second home. That’s where my project started to take shape. I love that place and have enormous respect for history.
-Finally, what are the plans for the second half of 2022? Is the pace still so frantic?
-For the second semester I am planning to release the sounds that the public asks for the most, such as ‘Games’, ‘Uh Dad arrived’ and ‘Go Low’ with Illusionize. I want to focus on that, on that connection that the audience has with me.
