Black Rock City, the name given to the temporary home of Burning Man, may not be a music festival in a strict sense, but that does not prevent it from bringing the best DJs worldwide to the desert year after year.

Characters like Monolink, Carl Cox, Flume, and many more have appeared in various camps around the ‘city’ in the past, either in a planned or spontaneous way, and to celebrate their return after a virtual edition last year, their musical line-up has nothing to envy to the previous versions.

In keeping with the 2022 theme of ‘Waking Dreams‘, this line-up is undoubtedly a dream come true for any electronic music fan regardless of genre.

Opulent Temple, which started as a large-scale art and music themed camp and is now a major part of Burning Man, hasn’t really held anything back this year as it announces one of the biggest line-ups in its history.

From Monday to Saturday, each day has its own highlights, but some stand out. Some highlights include a live set by Infected Mushroom on Saturday, sets by Carl Cox and John Summit on Wednesday, a great B2B set of Diplo and Vintage culture on Thursday and the paradise of trance with Spencer Brown, Above & Beyond and Gabriel and Dresden, for Friday.

On the other hand, PLAYGROUND will host two stages, the arrival stage and the Dune lounge this year, and their lineups are just as crazy. At Arrival, you’ll find techno trendsetters and couple Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano sharing the stage on Thursday, Lee Foss closing on Wednesday, Yulia Niko playing on Friday and Monolink and BLOND:ISH on Saturday after the man burns out. In the Dune lounge, you will also find some artists playing side sets, including Carl Cox and Yulia Niko, and also stars such as Apache, Saboy more.
