The collection encompasses about 400 albums from a variety of genres and is based at the Brooklyn Public Library

The Brooklyn Public Library has unveiled a new vinyl collection for all its members.
Based at its Grand Army Plaza Central Library next to Prospect Park, the vinyl library includes about 400 albums from genres spanning country music, pop, hip hop, classical music and more.
The albums can be listened to in the library and can also be lent for up to three weeks.
With the collection constantly growing, names already appearing include Talking Heads, ABBA, Lady Gaga, Notorious B.I.G., Prince and Park Hye Jin.
Along with this new collection, the library also offers programs on audio production, music coding and DJing.
The library will also host ‘August Lunch Beats’ in the Central Lobby, where DJs will be playing on August 18th and 25th. DJ Face Control will be playing at 7:00 p.m. on August 30th.
